I am not a chauvonist ( did I spell that right?) .
I just like women to act like , lady like, and to respect her man.
I feel that today women are put on a pedestal too much and many are nasty and arrogant.

how about people respecting people? i don't think it is just men and women. when i am at work, the only respect and kindness i get is from elderly people, i shouldn't say only, rarely from a middle aged person. people are just plan nasty and self absorbed... so is it this generation?

I am a woman and I do things for my man that I never would do for anyone else. The ones that are nasty and arrogant owe me some apologies and respect too. so don't group us all in one basket. I have no pedastal or high horse. The women that you speak of are rude and nasty when they don't get their way and are probably feminists or lesbians that hate men. Get off of your high horse and come on down to the real world . My fiance puts ME on the pedestal, and I put HIM on the petelstal and my kids are not waited on hand and foot all of the time. I am one of those nice girls, so am I the exception to the rule that women neeed to give you some respect? yes. Stop whining about it and find someone like me.

I think that many men would like to think women of today are put up on pedestals... in contrast however; many women are merely on a step stool reaching for the canned peas on the top shelf! Many women are not "taken" care of as they were back in the Victorian age, thus the respect level you see today is different and totally not even comparable....but if you are looking at the world through sad lonely eyes, I could see where it would be hard to distinguish the difference!

No being nasty towards women as i am one,lol but..i do agree that some women have gone ott with womens rights.....i mean..some women (not all) have turned into..what women used to call men (drinkeing pints of beer..nothing against that going having sex with random people and treating men like sh*t) the tables have seriously turned i think. so yes men and women should respect each other EQUALLY.

Look sweet cheeks.... admit it. You ARE a male chauvinist pig.... nothing to be ashamed... oh wait... Maybe There Is!!
"to respect her man"..... in the "Victorian Age"... men didn't respect us. You selfish prick..... its not until we finally stand up for ourselves isn't it. In those times and before women lived in fear.... lol but no more I say. You gotta give respect if you want some in return... I ain't seeing much respect ;P
