Does Cheney not know that their is a difference between supporting the troops and supporting the war? The House supports the troops, it's the WAR they don't support.

He is one to talk as he never served and had 5 deferments during Vietnam!
I guess Him and Bush support the troops when for 4 years the Iraqi's used them as target practice as Bush did nothing and called it "Stay the Course"! Meanwhile, body bags have been coming home daily for 4 years, longer than WW II!
They support the troops as most WIA's in Iraq are from IED's, and no matter the promises made, they still don't have armored humvee's 4 years later!
Bush Supports the troops when the wounded live in rat infested, dilapidated buildings while nothing is getting done regarding their care, especially ongoing!
Bush really cares about the troops when he cut VA hospitals by $100 BILLION in 2006 (over 60,000 have been wounded in Iraq with 33,000 of them being wounded in action and many times missing limb's as most are IED wounded. Bush didn't forget to give the rich a tax cut. He has another cut for them in his budget, and another tax cut for the rich as well!

Bush wanted to cut combat pay!
Bush sent them to invade a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 or terrorist! Now they are in the middle of a sectarian civil war which Bush allowed to happen by not giving the military enough troops to begin with!
Bush cares for the troops so much he is not keeping his word to let them out of the service when their contract date is up. Our national guard unit deployed to Kuwaitt, was in the initial attack and was not allowed home for over 2 years!
Bush and Cheney really care for the troops and it shows in how they treat them. All they really care about is a blank check with over 140 Billion dollars attached to ot with no strings attached!!
People who support the troops want them OUT! We are tired of body bags and tired of making 500 new millionaires off of Iraqi slated blood money while the troops already don't have what they need!
They charege the wouded leaving Walter Reed for their meals, they charge the wounded $600.00 for Armored vests that had to be cur off in the field because they "lost it"!
These are some sick people! But hey, that has always the way America has treated their veterans, or worse!!

It just a tactic that Cheney is using to try and fool simple minded ppl into believing what he wants them to...it doesn't work anymore. Most ppl know that you can support the troops and be against the war.

BTW - Just so I don't get reported: I don't know if Cheney knows and I'm gonna leave it at that. But, I do believe that if a withdrawal-date bill tried to pass through without all the provisions/bribes, it would not make it past.
