Mine did! And if you join a sorority, they have formals every season... which is basically like a high school dance except you know all the girls and they're all your friends. :) Fraternities have formals too... so maybe you'll get asked by some lucky guy!

No, the universities themselves do not sponsor school dances as such - leaving that type of cultural enrichment as the responsibility of the fraternities and sororities. They do, however, rule on what is acceptable behavior at these dances.

Some do! even if they dont, there are always formal dinners like scholarship fundraisers and alumni events that give you an excuse to dress up and eat free food!

My school only has homecomming. No one goes though. Actually no one goes to any school events.
