1. Discretion is optimum.
2. Stay away from the cue chalk, or wear blue pants, otherwise rule #1 will be jeopardized.
3. It's not necessary to call the pocket for which your balls will enter.
4. And lastly, it's not the length of the stick, it's the operator that makes or breaks the shot.

Yes, it's pretty much the same as table billiards, just be very careful if you go for a cannon, and if you get an "in off the black", you may be playing with the wrong balls. The same applies if you pot more than two balls.

A "Scratch" is not penalized.
Only use you own chalk, don't share.
The hand chalk can not be directly applied to your shaft.
