Twice---once on the pill...never missed a dose or anything. It just happened.

Second on the patch. We believe a few months of antibiotics was the culprit. So be careful
It DOES happen!!

Well, lets see. I was conceived while my mother was using an IUD, my sister was conceived while my mom was on the pill, and well my third sister, they didn't wait long enough after the vasectomy. There's three examples out of three children there.

I am currently waiting on my period and not really expecting it to come this month. I was on the pill but have also been on ammoxacilin for 20 days and I think it's true what they say about the pill being less effective at this time. I've been so loopy and tired.

There are always chances you'll get pregnant no matter what you use!

Yep with both of my daughters as well as the baby I miscarried.

1st baby-My husband used condoms every time (miscarried)

2nd baby- I had been using the patch for about 5 months when I became pregnant. My daughter will be 3 next month.

3rd baby- I had been using the Nuva Ring for 6 weeks when I became pregnant. My daughter will be 2 next month.

I used everything correctly just as I should have been. I have a higher than average fertility rate. Combining that with low-dose hormonal birth control, you have a higher percentage of a failure rate.

I know of quite a few of women who have gotten pregnant on birth control. I guess it's pretty rare and I guess I have fertile friends...but it is possible. I know a few women who have conceived twins on birth control.

It can sooooo happen. But most times it's if you've screwed up and had to double up because of a missed dose or two or three if ya know what I mean.

I did with twins! My doctor told me unfortunately the type and brand of pills I was taking wasn't strong enough for me. That's how it happened, that's why there is so many different strengths.
