Some classes in my school use www.turnitin.com but I htink you need a class for that. The way it works though, is it checks your paper on other papers, and shows a scale on how much it resembles another person's work. If you wrote it yourself, then even if some words match up, it'll only give a small warning and your teacher most likly will be able to distinguish the difference.

If you wrote your paper yourself, wouldn't you know if you plagiarized or not?

Just cite ALL your sources and references and you will be fine.

And if you took an idea from someone else, make sure to cite that as well.
