Hello! I am in the midst of planning a vacation to Washington DC this spring, and I'm looking forward to seeing so many things I've seen on television and books. I'm thinking I'll take an extended vacation and maybe go visit Richmond, Virgina... it sounds like they have a neat art museum there. In past years I've gone annually to NYC... so I'll miss it this year. Peace!

My youngest son will be 8 next month. I bought Amtrak tickets to a historical city here in our state. I thought he would get a kick out of riding a real train and he and I could just have one on one time and spend a couple of days visiting museums and such.
I went ahead and told him about it. He is so excited he has asked questions every day about it. I can't wait to take him on this little adventure!
