I did a home preg test a week ago, neg answer, so 3 days later still neg answer but no period yet (yes i'm late and we are trying to concieve.) I feel like I have PMS, cranky, crampy but no period. My question is did this happen to you? Did you get some neg answers before you got a positive? Frustrated!

It is very possible that you are just late (trying not to get your hopes up) but at the same time, you may have tested too early with the first couple pregnancies but this last one you took may have been perfect timing for the HCG level to be detected. I would take another test in like 2 days and if it is still positive, GO TO THE DOCTOR! !

That is exactly what happened to me.
I took a test at the doctors, it came out neg, I went home and took one a few days later, it came out neg.
I waited another week, I took another one at home. When I looked at it and I thought it said neg, so I got sad put it on the floor of the bathroom and took a shower. When I picked it up to throw it away, I looked at it again, and it was positive. Strange story I know... but true. We now have a 19 month old...:)

Oh yeah lol. my cousin was pregnant and took 4 tests before one came back positive. If your body is not producing an adequate amount of HCG then the PG test won't pick it up. She took her first at Christmas, no go. Then another New Years.. no go. Then on January 7th.. weeks later, she turned out positive.. :) Funny.. cause that is the same nite that we concieved :) hehehe.. Good luck :)

I have several friends that did this! In fact I have one that only got a positive result from the blood test they did at the doctor's office, never from the at home one!
Call your doctor and schedule an appointment, they will be able to tell you for sure! Good luck and congrats!

yeah been there done that recently as a matter of fact.
i took 4 home tests all neg went to the dr got positive and ultrasound to show hubby.so my advice call doctor and get blood test done.and good luck!

Yes, you can be pregnant and still get a negative result...if your pregnancy hormone is not high enough for the pregnancy test to detect. Give it another week and if the tests show up negative than please go see a doctor!

ooh yes hon, i did like 5 tests and all neg but then like at 52 days i went to the doc and bam i was and it was twins... lol so goodluck..
