i just saw this documental about robots
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5144447317524575964&q=robots&hl=en
and a new robot has been created with the capability to learn from us , just like a baby does!!!! i mean there were these 2 guys playing ping pong and he was standing by their side , learning the techniques , but i was thinking what about if one of these robots falls under the command of a killer , or a crazy man , and he starts doing everything he does will we have something to be afraid of? what do you think about the new robot revolution ? beneficial , unnecessary , or destructive?

Honestly, being afraid of robot killers is as pointless as worrying about hit by a meteorite. Why is humans think robots would even think about them? Why would an AI with the capability to do endless research in the interweb decide it's time would be best spent destroying the human race? There are all sorts of crazy men with access to machines much more dangerous to you than a robot that plays ping-pong.

we're very far away from being able to understand personality, let alone instill one into a mechanical body/brain.
