She'll get a bad neck and back from the posture. Plus the laptop will take in fluff and lint and the fans will get blocked.

She may need to drink tea (if she is English) or coffee if she is american. If she is employed to work on the laptop then the electricity at work regulations need to be applied here. The laptop should be stored in a safe place when drinking and any wire should be treated as a trip hazard to other employees.
The lady may have to take a break due to employment laws also.On a twelve hour laptop working shift she may need an hours break and two extra half hours break depending on the country she lives.

Her lap will get quite warm, this may lead to vericose veins. On special conditions the battery may leak or catch fire.
Her back, neck and wrists may start aching in the near future due to the strain produced by the posture.
And she may start needing glasses.
Pretty similar to what could happen to a male.

There is nothing to say that this is bad for your health. If you're still concerned about the heat buy a laptop cooling pad to dissipate the heat.

May burn her legs when the computer heats up. Laptops because of their construction can get pretty hot.
