More people have been able to buy a home than ever before in history, they are not rich as the rich already had homes, they are new home owners. The rising tide of the economy does indeed raise all ships.

This economy more than anything else certifies trickle down which is why you hear about it from the socialists so much. When you know something is working they begin attacking.

Anyone who relys on television for anything other than an opiate is stupid, you have to research things today to find the truth, you have to listen to a long list of blogs, follow a lot of links, but the truth is there. The socialists are relying on the laziness of their followers and the propaganda machine of the MSM.

I am aware of the tax break for the wealthiest people in America. The home of the brave, the land of the free. Who now do you think is funding the war? What percentage of the poor soldiers are actually doing the fighting for greedy Bush and his weapons making friends? By the way you might want to take an economics course to see what actually happens to the economy when tax breaks come when the country can not pay for them. Borrowing from China at the rate we are borrowing is sad for the future adults of America. They will be shouldering this burden. As much as this war is costing, we Americans would have NO problem funding Social security in years to come. Social security is WAY more important to this country then spending lives and dollars making Bush and his friends even richer.

Lowering taxes increases government revenue, ask any economist in the world smart guy. The government takes less we spend more our economy is doing great. Maybe you'd know that if you quit crying on here and lived a little in the real world.

Well, I am not sure if you are correct. But is it really a good idea to lower taxes during a war? Don't we have to support the war effort? If unabated, the US national debt is going to ruin the economy in the next 20 years. We could be headed for economic disaster.

It became a undesirable flow. elevating taxes in the time of conflict time isn't being a liberal, is being fiscally in charge. Is the only thank you to stay away from deficits and to no longer unbalance the fee selection. After WWII, we enjoyed a wealthy financial device FDR did no longer decrease taxes and we did fantastic. Bush has acted like a drunken sailor in financial concerns.

Actually your wrong.

Lyndon Johnson passed Kennedys tax cuts after Kennedy was killed.

In 1964 the top tax rate was cut from 91% to 77%

In 1965 the top tax rate was cut again to 70%

We were already involved in Vietnam by then.

Your debt is only $8,700,000,000,000. What's a few more zeros?

Lowering taxes doesn't necessarily increase revenue. If it were that easy, every level of government in the world would lower taxes to zero and get how much revenue???

Your debt is more than all the third world countries combined. The party's over guys. The United States of America empire is crumbling. The only question is how fast.

Fine, but where is the money for the war coming from? PBS and the children who want to watch Sesame Street? Veterans services? How about the money borrowed? Who is going to pay it back? We will need to raise taxes to avoid bankruptcy and then the Cons. will scream tax and spend. Not realizing they and their policies are the reason for the tax and spend.

The Bush administration lowered the taxes but it primarily benefits the rich to pay back their campaign contributions.
