the answer is not just practice.....because in baseball all the fundamentals and mechanics are muscle memory.....so if u practice something wrong, then u are going to suck during game situations. the right answer is "perfect practice" go out and find someone that really knows what they are talkin bout and have them show u how to correctly do things. have them break every little movement down to u, so that u can practice your fundamentals and mechanics perfectly.

Pitching I would advise you to find someone who knows exactly what they are doing with all the updated rules so you are taught right to become better and batting the same thing its all about practice but also about your technique and mechanics

PRACTICE

Pitching:
Play catch every day
Long Toss (over 150 feet) every other day
Get yourself on a rotation so that you are throwing every 3-5 days 30-55 pitches

Batting- Just go to the batting cages.

Get a whiffle ball bat and some ping pong balls and stand in front of the tv and start swinging. If you can connect with a ping pong ball with a thin whiffle ball bat in front of a tv, you can easily hit a baseball. All you have to do is take a round bat and hit a round ball, squarely :)

for pitching i didnt have anyone to practice with so i saved up my money and bought a PITCHBACK you can find them at any sporting goods store. for batting theres something called a hitaway i didnt use one but there not bad.
