just got the game and cant stop wonderin if it goes online..?
if anyone can post sumtin abot if it goes online or not would be appreciated =D

The Sims 2 does not allow gameplay online. People can post videos, photo albums or other downloadable items online, but there is no gameplay that takes place with other players. The online online Sims computer game is the Sims Online which uses the original Sims engine.

The Sims 2 game is not playable online, however, you can register at the Sims2.com site and download stuff for the game there as well as thousands of other sites.
Most likely, they will not come out with a TS2 for online play seeing as how the original "Sims Online" game was pretty much a bust.

no... you have to buy it. there is a sims 2 website which I am registered at. it is the sims2.com. you can download new lots and chat in a forum about gameplay help. there are also a bunch of mini games for various expansion packs.
