Seriously, if someone comes on here to ask a question, all they are asking for are answers. They don't need judgements from everyone, and unless you're asked for your opinion, why must you feel the need to give it? If you don't have a real answer, why bother putting people down? Does it make you feel better to call other people names and tell them what horrible people they are? What makes you so much better?
The term "holier than thou" comes to mind...

I totally agree with you on this one:) We are not here to judge others we are here to help others and answer questions and offer advice and opinions. Judging is not right at all and should not be happening. If you cannot answer the question right and be helpful and kind then do not answer at all. It is not right to call people names or to be mean or nasty to them. No one is perfect you know.

I would hope most of my answers are geared toward what they have asked, now sometimes I do look at some of the other questions they asked and if I think it is a prank then I do point this out. If I can't answer in a way without judging someone I usually don't bother. I was taught if you can't say anything nice keep your mouth shut. I never call people names and would hope the older ones here would not stoop to that level.

Well, I dont think its just yahoo answers...its universal. All people have opinions that are totally different to yours. When you ask a question, then be prepared for the idiots....be prepared for the holyier than though attitude...its ingrained in us. I guess you can thank the Bill of Rights for people being allowed to call you names and be judgemental. People are allowed to have their opinions....they are allowed to be judgemental. Just take on board the stuff that helps your situation, and just ignore all the rest. Although I must admit I get really pissed off by some answers....I just add on to my question to diss the people who diss me....it makes me feel better, but I doubt whether my comments will have any lasting effects in their lives. They have been conditioned to be judgemental idiots, so nothing I am going to say is going to change their stupid closed minds....but at least it makes me feel better.....lol

Just because it's called 'Yahoo Answers' doesn't mean, necessitate, or imply that the answers people give should be factual. In fact, most questions (especially the ones dealing with matters of the mind and of the heart) can only be answered by opinions.

As far as the put-downs, some people just need a healthy dose of 'What the *bleep* is wrong with you?' shoved down their throats from time to time.

you're fantastic till some million/2 way down, and at that factor you start up offering incorrect information as a remember of actuality. in this regard, you're violating the YA! T&Cs. i would not have reported you, basically marked you down, yet by way of fact the respond became bumped off, greater advantageous than one individual concept you violated the regulations.

Whut? Questions in this section are usually subjective meaning people can only offer their opinions on the situation. If it feels like "judgement" and not "opinion", that is your problem.

I agree; but you have to realize that this is, essentially, a public forum. The answerers bring a vast diversity with them.

If all the "questions" were like this one, then the logical question would be, "why isn't it called Yahoo Insipid Whining?".
