Whales are no longer made into products. They were once hunted for their blubber or fat which was used in oil lamps, industrial applications and sometimes personal cosmetics. Their bones where also used to make womens corsets. Native Alaskans still hunt whales in the arctic as they have all ways done, using every piece of the animal as food, clothing and art.
