(you know that marker/paint stuff you put on teeshirts and it doesn't wash off), and whats a good cheap sewing machine. And if that doesn't work, what kindo fh and made stuff can I sell on ebay etc.

Do you want to go with silk screening or try to use dye-sublimation. Silk screening can go on any color shirt but dye-sub works best on white - non-cotton materials.

Try entering silk screening supplies in a local search box for distributors near you. Distance does make a difference in your costs.

my wife and I are trying to do the same thing. we're gonna take our shirts to the local sunday market and see what happens. I'm also going to check with local stores in the "artist" part of town about comissions, as well as having our own web-site(s). Also E-bay has places to sell but check out esty.com which is a site that specializes in handmade stuff. It is similar to e-bay w/out the bidding and stuff. Check out screen printing books at your local bookstore or library. Making you own screens doesn't seem to be that hard and probably well worth the time and effort. Good luck.
