I'm sorry your partner is like that. Personally there's nothing I would rather do than cuddle my pregnant wife. Though I'm not married, these are things I dream about. I can't think of anything more satisfying than holding your wife who is carrying life that you created together. That's what being a man is really about. I hope things change for the better.

If your man is energetic and exercises, he will be burning calories while he rests. This process causes heat. Heat is uncomfortable. I have to have at least one leg out of the bed covers to feel confortable at night and I have one less blanket than does my wife.. which is, pretty difficult as she sleeps in the same bed. You can see, with all this metabilising and leg stecking out and one blanket less.. that cuddling isn't high in the priority list in terms of comfortability... so a "power cuddle", as you put it, is right out!
It is real nice just being near.. touching one foot or something. Being pregnant is also a really special time for your partner, but those circumstances do not convert him into a soft toy.
Get yourself a fat soft pillow instead. It doesn't need oxegen.

because when we are pregnant its not that they do not want to cuddle it is that we put out too much body heat and smother them. Also some guys feel weird getting kick by a baby still on the inside. If you want some attention from your man ask him to rub lotion on your belly and body. This actually serves several purposes
1. you get the desired attention
2. your man is not being smushed or kicked
3. the lotion will help prevent stretch marks or at least decrease their severity.
4. the massage may lead to more exciting activities

I always enjoyed giving my wife hugs and affection . I was proud to have a pregnant wife. She was especially beautiful as her skin color was attractive her hair was long and blond and she still had a warm beautiful smile. I loved running my hands around her body and our perspective bundle of joy. She really loved my affection also. I was an inexperienced 30 year old father with this new wonderful package deal.
