changing self in the sense the author or the speaker has changed his perspective towards someone. this can be because of something like the author is grown up or because of some incident occured in his life.
e.g.: The door by Miroslav Holub, sky high by Hannah

Changes is a song by Black Sabbath. It first appeared on Black Sabbath, Vol. 4 which was released in 1972. It is a ballad about relationship loss, and is uncharacteristic of Black Sabbath's music. It has been covered by many other artist as well.

I feel unhappy
I feel so sad
I lost the best friend
That I ever had

She was my woman
I loved her so
But it's too late now
I've let her go

I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes

We shared the eve's
We shared each day
In love together
We found a way

But soon the world
Had its evil way
My heart was blinded
Love went astray

I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes

It took so long
To realize
That I can still hear
Her last goodbyes

Now all my days
Are filled with tears
Wish I could go back
And change these years

I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes

I don't if THIS is what you need or if you need a person who nows sees another person in a different way. If that's the case, contact me, I can find more poems.

Black and White
Talk to me of the ways of man,
history hidden within the bowels of time
where light rarely infiltrates.

Show me answers that are complete
in their veracity and honor,
respecting all of those who experienced.

Bring me truth that is unfailing
in its conception, meeting criteria
that passes the test of the whole.

Created by lack of understanding,
fear searches for least resistance,
validation for our preconceptions.

Cloaked in bi-polar vestments,
difficult questions beg not simple answers,
nor answers that always remain the same.

Relentless change captures curiosity,
elusive responses require analysis,
weighing all the intangible effects.

Yet the darkest door beckons recklessly.
promising a future of worldly disdain,
where only two paths exist, black and white.

Are you going to choose this door,
the one that eliminates our humanness,
our urge to create something uniquely us?

Cold earth always awaits decaying, spent bodies,
while invisible boxes compress the living,
those whose world has chosen... black and white.

If you mean this as in changing yourself then yes. The song my sister likes Mirror by Barlow Girls. It says that she is looking in the mirror and she sees what her is trying to force her to look like. And then she later sings "Mirror I am seeing a new reflection " As in her changing...and figuring out that the mirror can't force her to see herself one way.
Ps- You can look the lyrics up to see if you like them, the song is really good though.

i don't know if it qualifies, but "seen it all before" by amos lee is a pretty good song about changing his view...i guess. it mentions his girl cheating on him, or just doing him wrong, and he's not gonna take it from anyone else cuz he's "seen it all before". if you've never even heard of amos lee, then you definitely should! he's an amazing singer; very mellow, and soulful. good luck with your assignment!
