Q.There is much more Publicity in Media and all around. No such Importance is given for any other game in India. Is it the right to give so much publicity and well wishing? The team will perform better by this type of publicity or Its hard labour to the target?.
Ans. I assume cricket is the most popular sport in India and by far Indians don't care about other sports so its not media's fault that they highlight cricket over any other sport, Indians are addicted to cricket
Media highlights things considering the demographics of the area and majority of the Indian population is addicted and obsessed with Cricket and that's were media scores ratings and to answer your question whether India would perform better by the over hyped publicity or by their hard labor, i would say Publicity puts extra pressure on team to perform well on a stage as big as World cup.
My question - After the result so far Addiction of Indian will decrease or Not? & The Importance to other game will increase?

While I can say for sure that interest of Indian people in cricket will defenitely be on decline after the poor performance of Indian Team in the world cup and inconcistency of Indian players, I do not know how far they will help to increase the popularity of other games. Since peoples memory is short lived, once India win any match next time, people will forget the past and start praising the players and take them to sky high, thereby making the players complacent and over confient.

I personally feel that not much importance should not be given to the players and team ihey score a century or if a bowler take 5 wikets or so in any match other than winning a tournament like Champions Trophy, World Cup etc.

Importance and publicity given to Cricket just because we were one of the top teams in the world compared to any other sports in India. But with the likes of Anand, Sania, Sasikiran and Rathore in other sports and the thrashing we received in this world cup, i safely assume that the addiction will not be there anymore.

Indians have been cricket crazy for a long long time. Nothing is going to change. New players will come in but the situation will remain the same. Lot of bakwas but no substance.
