that I was low on memory and that it would shut down within the countdown. It was really odd and I'd like to know if was a virus or was it having trouble because it's an older computer with lower memory, My Norton says it's virus free.

It is called The Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and everyone gets them at times. It is not a virus.

What PC is it and what is the RAM in it? Then someone may be able to suggest a remedy. If the computer is more than 4 years old, it might be worth getting a newer one.

Hi. If you have less than about 512MB of RAM, increase it to 1GB. But you may be happier with a more modern machine. Honestly.

Just add some more memory and you will be good to go.

it might have been a pop-up add, But with out know more specifics about your computer i can't really tell.
