i want to be cremated. the thought of rotting in the ground bothers me more than being burned up after i am already dead. no thoughts yet on where i want to be scattered. maybe over my keyboard so i am forever on p&s

I am to be cremated.I have several ins.policies and I want my kids to have that money.I don't want a funeral home to make money off my death.I feel that funerals are for the living.Once I die,I won't be aware of my surroundings and I could care less for a $9,000.00 funeral.Why would I want a top of the line coffin?That's just impressing the living.lol- I don't like funerals.I want to be cremated and my ashes scattered into the Pacific Ocean.

I prefer to be cremated. I hate to think of wasting land on my body. However, if my mother is still alive when I die I would like to be buried out of respect for her beliefs.

Hello Georgia! I don't believe in being cremated, though not for a religious reason. Some don't like it as they fear loved ones gone to heaven won't have their bodies returned, but God is all powerful and the earth will give up the remains of all human beings... some to eternal life with God and others to eternal death with satan. I'll be buried so that I can have a casket for loved ones to see my face one last time before I'm laid to rest... albeit I'll already be at rest with God! Death for a believer is his/her graduation, and the Bible says we will sleep but will later be awakened. That's my view and belief. Peace!

I'd like to be cremated, but before the cremation, I'd like to be dressed in my pajamas, sitting up in a chair so my family can give me a hug one last time...sounds weird, but my family has agreed to honor my wishes!
Oh and why...hmmm, I'm scared of worms!
