One of the requirements for being an actor in Hollywood is to have an incisive mind that can think clearly and that can tell fact from fiction. It is not as though they are there in the public eye just because they have an attractive hairstyle, good facial features, and a great publicist who makes sure their every utterance gets them media coverage.

They're not. Those few who may, though, are showing they're no smarter than the fools in the general public who believe the same b.s.
PS - When are people going to realize actors are no smarter or well informed than any other group of people?

They are Actors. They live a life of fiction and drama. They are not familiar with reality.
Which would make a more sensational movie plot, reality or the conspiracy theory? This is how they decide.
