It depends on the type of procedure your doctor used. If you think you are pregnant you need to see your doctor for a blood test. There is less than a 1% chance of getting pregnant after a tubal ligation. but if it does happen there is a 16-50% chance of having a tubal pregnancy. With tubal pregnancies it can take home tests longer to pick up the HCG hormone, but a blood test can pick it up.

Actually, there is a possibility of you still getting pregnant after having your tubes tied. I never heard of anything saying that tubes fuse and heal themselves. But what I think you should do is go and have the more advanced procedure done where the dr.'s cortorize(burn) the end of your tubes then tie them in a not. With that procedure, nothing can get through those babies!! Good Luck!

The chances of getting pregnant after 11 yrs is slim. However if you were just cut and tied it's possible, but very very rare. If they were cut and burned then no, the chances are even more rare. If you are looking to get pregnant then the tubal has to be reversed, but it would be easier and you would have a better chance by doing invitro. I hope this helps.

You can get pregnant however it is very rare. Even if you had them untied there is no guarantee.
