Who or what are you named after? My first and middle name is Shelby Ann. I was named after a character some actress played. Stupid! Plus both my grandmas are Ann. Jo Ann and Ann. What about you?

I was named after a weasle like animal who resembles a skunk.
I have 2 brothers with the same first name but different middle names. I gather Shelby is not to bad a name though!

My first name Darla, is from the Our Gang or Little Rascals Character Darla. My middle name is Elaine after my mom's sister. Yes, I think Shelby is a cool name.

My mom used to watch this show called Dark shadows so that's where I got both my names Samantha Jo I guess the middle name was going to be Jozette but she shortened it thank goodness.

I was named after my mom's boss (Gayle) and I have her name as my middle name (Alyce)
I have two daughters
One was named Jodi, after the kid on Family Affair,
and the other is Jill, after a character on a detective show I liked at the time, but can't remember the name now.
