In America everyone has the freedom to choose their own "American Dream".

Mine was home ownership, successful career and early retirement.

When I was growin up it was said to be a nice house in suburbs, 2 car gagarge for those nice cars or the soccer Mom van,
decent hardworking with good job spouse, 2.5 kids (how do you achieve this one kid cut in half ?) a dog & happiness
I guess.Now how many people do you know who have that?
It's the opposite of everything on married with children.
