My friend knows him and its kinda like i send notes to him every other day.......ive never actually seen him.

Well.. first of all.. how old are you? Are you mature enough for a relationship?
Just stay cool about it. Do not go around and tell people about ur relationship, cuz it may annoy ur boyfriend and he might think that you are desperate. Just let your boyfriend take the lead. However you should be aware of ur rights. If you think that you do not want to have intimate things like sex, dun do it.
Maybe you guys might be holding hands, kissing and just having fun. Because ur boyfriend is there to support you and make you feel special. However, remember to use protection. Stay in touch with him regularly. Do not ignore your boyfriend no matter what, cuz he might feel left out.

Oh lord, you've never seen him but he's your boyfriend. That's pretty desperate. Do yourself a favor and wait until you are a lot older. Your friend might even be having a joke on you.

OK be there when he needs and wants to, but don't be clingy. Watch how to lose a guy in 10 days to know what not to do. Then go from there.
