If the question is still open, then find your question (via "my profile" page...select the green tab "questions.") Then, underneath the question, you'll see a tool bar. Find the pencil icon on the right, and scroll over it. You'll see several options including "delete question."

But, if the question has gone to voting and/or is resolved (i.e. a best answer is selected, then you can't delete it. That's because Yahoo Answers wants to maintain a database of answers.

click on the tiny pencil icon under you question and select 'delete question' from the drop-down.

If the question has been resolved you can't delete it.
