There is no convincing there, you are going to be an adult and if this is what you want to do. Do it, its an honorable job, a noble man does this.. I am proud of you and I dont no you.. If they dont believe it is right for you that is them not you.. But if you want to talk to them about it get all the research you can sit them down and tell them this is your choice and you want to become a Marine.. if that doesnt sound good, try talking to them at a different angle, tell them you found a good job after high school, that they will pay for you to go to college they employ most a large amount of people, they also teach you to be the a damn good man ... good luck sweety and you have made a good choice

except you're below 18, they'd't do lots. advance a pair and pass on your recruiter. quit nerve-racking approximately mommy and daddy. in the event that they appreciate you as an grownup then they are going to (or would desire to) help your first substantial grownup determination. that they had 18 years to mildew you into an upstanding grownup. Now they'd desire to observe to make certain how they did raising you. they are going to be worried with all that's occurring in Iraq. that's their first genuine complication that some thing would ensue to their "infant". Be prematurely with them, tell them your plans. they want to appreciate each and every thing you will do in the USMC. What are your plans after the marines. provide them the impact which you have concept this out thoroughly and which you have a plan for the sessions of till now, for the period of, and after the USMC. additionally, on your mothers and dads' sake, do not use this as a stand of defiance against your mothers and dads. purely for the reason which you may enlist do not rub it of their face that they'd't quit you, they already understand. stable success to you.

You sound like your still in high school. Graduate first, then decide if this is still something for you. My gf two boys just got out of the marines - one stayed in the states; the other went to Afganistan. I can't blame your parents for worrying, but this is a decision that you need to make carefully and then make your choice.

tell them it's what you really want to do. That it's not like old times where they stand in one field and beat on each other just for a few yards of turf. That the US is more trained and highly equiped then any other country.
