I like hoo hoo... it has a sweet sing song quality to it...
I agree with you ... reclaiming my vagina... makes me think of hairy armpits... shaved heads... and military boots...
.. NOT that there's anything wrong with that... it's just not my style..
Hoo hoo... go with that... most people know what it means.

I think Vagina is a beautiful word. Maybe you have issues with the vagina itself and not the name? I think Rectum is not the most attrative word, but that's probably only because I'm not thrilled with what comes out of it.

i like the word vagina...years ago it would be considered a taboo term to use in the public arena. it kind of rolls off the tongue, so to speak. you could give it a nickname, like "Betty" or something. the word i have a problem with is "pubic". it just sounds, well, filthy.....LOL
