some rape for power, others because it gets them off, some because they feel like they want it and feel you've been a tease like my x-he said he knew I wanted why else would I be so wet, he an as*hole, some because they are fu*ked up psychologically, or the parents or someone else has emasculated them.

All rapists have different reasons but the main one is usually because they need to feel they are in control. Many people who rape younger children want to see their reactions and be their "first". Many rapists experienced hardships in their pasts and childhoods, like abuse. The best answer I can give you is talk to a rapist.

Because one they have issue two they probably had it done to them and three for the prower and control thing. I've heard that discussed on radio talk shows by shrinks. They say that rape is more a crime of violence than one of a sexual nature.
I've also heard reported that when the women's clothes fashions start to change and the hem lines on the dresses start going up, that the rates of the rapes go up also.

you'll have to ask a rapist. but the obvious answer would be psychological factors that have come to be as a result of hardships in life, usually in childhood.

Because that's the only way they'll ever get laid. Rapists are usually really creepy perverted freaks who can only get off knowing that they're hurting someone. It's really sick.

It's a control issue. That is why from babies to ladies in their 90's it's all fair game to them. They need to be put behind bars and tortured.

I think it would be because they want control or just the excitement of it.I guess control and excitement, either way it's still not right, but I think that is why.
