I recently ate at White Castle for the first time. Man, was it BAD. Greasy AND tasteless. Plus the burger patties were gray! And the french fries?? Soggy and cold! DISGUSTING. Won't be eating there again!

Gosh I can't think of a place that is better than White Castle - it's my favorite and has been for many years. An independent testing company came through town not too long ago and tested the products of 25 restaurants in town and the quality of the meat , and overall food prep was given to White Castle - rated #1 on objective measures. What you interpret as greasy isn't , the patties are steamed in onion juice not fried and their onion rings are the best - I can't eat fries.

Krystal...the white castle of the south. I think it has been open longer than white castle..Both places are only good after a hard night drinking..I will eat a sack then but never sober.

my place is the only one in the small town i live in and it has not every served anything without something in it. you know, like crack Jacks? A little brown bug, a long hair, an odd soapy flavor, and on and on. Locals don't mind, they are usedto it. I am not. had baked chicken and potatoe chips yesterday. the chicken had blood near the bone, the fries were refries from lunch time and the bread had mold. i was desperate and am single and truly hate cooking and the townspeople resent me coming from nj to manage "their" factory. it is hell in this little town. i cannot move. I wonder if they won't poison me one day.

If you are sober White Castle is ok, but at 4am after a night on the town and drunk as hell, White Castle burgers are little slices of heaven.

Checkers, they're burgers are salty. Burger King have the best burgers. I also would stay away from Mickey D's hamburgers

Yes Rally's sucks the burgers are never hot or warm for that matter and the fries are always cold and nasty.

No I think white castle is the worst it gets for soggy cold food, however look at the price, you get what you pay for in this case

You found a White Castle? I thought they closed all of their restaurants. But, their burgers are different, if you want a normal one go to McDonald's or Burger King.

yeah their fries are disgusting, their burgers are okay. i don't know anywhere else worse than white castle, but i don't like hamburgers with butter on the buns, i think that's more disgusting.
