this contest - more gossip to parents = more money/gifts at Christmas?
He seriously wants to start a contest April 1st .... we both feed our parents as much family gossip as we can (and who delivers the information first is crucial), and he thinks that whoever gets the most gossip in will recieve a bigger present at Christmas.
He's got it all planned out ... a scoring system, time lines, etc.,
What do you all think? Think he is right?
We are in our early thirties with divorced parents.
NO - He did not PROPOSE marriage to me - I just wanted to get your attention ... no one else is answering this question.
I want to know if it is worthwhile to participate in this contest or not!

Go for it. I think you should make up crap about him though. Like how he's joining a cult etc. Or into drugs. Then your odds are even better.

It can't hurt to play along a little, just try not to deliver any really harmful gossip that could damage relationships. It does seem kind of stupid to me, though. I think he may be thinking that delivering gossip get you more presents, but it probably has more to do with just talking to them.

Tell your brother that you are not in the third grade and that gossiping is bad.
Oh and tell him to go out and meet people, because he is obviously lonely enough to make up a game like that.

umm well I'm not sure how to answer but Black Heart thinks it sounds stupid but then again she's EMO. . .Red doesn't really care she in a bad mood right now. . .93 thinks it's a good idea but a bit odd. . .EP (Evil Person) thinks it sounds stupid but sure. . .PS that was my split personalities and my best friend. . .yes I'm insane. . .

sounds like he wants to start trouble more than anything. I dont know him or you personally so it's hard to say. I would be careful though.
