Which occupation do you think requires the most patience?

Any professional dealing with handicapped people, people who are ill, or mentally ill people.

A Dr. Without Patients, he's out of business. I think a CSI has to have extreme patience, to go through a crime scene on hands and knees looking for a hair, or a toenail, or anything else for that matter knowing it probably has nothing to do with the crime they are investigating. To spend hours, or days testing what they have only to hit a block wall. At the same time, their superiors are breathing down their backs to get a suspect. They have my respect, that's for sure.

Any job dealing with the public at large. You have to put up with all kinds of personalities and it is a headache! People are so rude nowadays too.
I know restaurant management requires patience, call centers too.

Customer service in any aspect. Dealing with the public on a regular basis is hell, and your lucky sometimes you come home with any hair left in your head. People are SO rude.and it takes every ounce of patience in your body not to lose it, which i have definetly done at past jobs.

i'm in nursing and i work in a nursing home and that takes a lot of patience I swear some of them I like children all over again

I'd have to say a psychologist. I know people that go to them for many years with the same issue. If I were the doc, I'd be slapping them telling them to "GET OVER IT ALREADY!"
