A friend of mine is being offered a job either in Canada as receptionist or in Abu Dhabi as Customer Sales Representative.
Salary would be minimum for Canada - I think 14 to 17 Canadian Dollars per hour.
Salary for Abu Dhabi would be around 1350 US Dollars per month.
To what country would be the lesser cost of living? Where I can save more money and bring home to my family?
Thanks!

Living in the Philippines. There are more job openings here to the Middle East though.

Canada's easier, but you would make more in Abu Dhabi.

It depends on how many hours that you work in Canada and how many days. If you do the math it would be $14 to $17 per hour times the number of hours then times the number of days. 1350 doesn't seem like a lot of money but it would probably be better to work in Canada or which ever place is closets to home where all of your family is at. But in Abu Dhabi everything is much cheaper than Canada cause Canada is higher than the U.S..Go to Abu Dhabi

I would take the job in Canada, i have heard way too many horror stories about Abu Dhabi. Thousands have been tricked into working there and are then sold as slaves to build mega-hotels and such. Canada would be much safer.

Some more details would be helpful. For example what country are you in now?
Have you looked at cost of living information for either place.
What part of Canada.

Go Canada!

Not as exotic I admit, but probably safer, not a world away, etc. etc.
