I'm as patriotic as the next person, I've never seen a flag displayed this way. It's hanging downwards.

When displayed either horizontally or vertically against a wall or in a window, the stars should be uppermost and to the observer's left.
BUT
The flag should never be fastened, displayed, used, or stored in such a manner as to permit it to be easily torn, soiled, or damaged in any way.

The website listed below is chock FULL of information on "how to display the American Flag." It also has some interesting news blips on recent displays of the flag that were disrepectful. For instance, on Deal or No Deal, a recent contestant wore the flag as the design for his shirt. WRONG!

yeah... its sorta country. I live in missouri and people will nail the flag to fences and stuff..
