Organised crime hit an all time high in the 1970's but I cant seem to discover why. There were lots of problems with Italian and American Mafia's but nothing to say why that was. Can anyone help.

It was primarily to do with mass immigration and claims of anti-black bias against the police- therfore higher numbers of arrests and prosecutions and therefore higher crime statistics- especially those charges such as involving 'conspiracy to commit a crime' etc
