Yes, I have a guinea pig who sniffles periodically and sneezes a couple times every other day. If it continues to lengthen, and she's doing it more frequently and her nose becomes moist I'd take her to the vet for a check up, she could then have a respiratory infection. Good Luck!!

your ferret is fine. ferrets explore with their noses and are constantly picking up new scent trails and sniffing new things, especially if you just got her she's going to sneeze alot. When ferrets investigate, they keep their nose down to the carpet, inhaling everything else on the carpet, too, mostly dust. Like humans, they sneeze to clear their nostrils. When she gets used to her new home and isnt smelling everything so intensely, she will stop sneezing as much. A good thing to rememberfor the future though, is that ferrets can catch our colds and flus (sniffles and runny noses) from us. If you have a cold, you should limit your time with your ferret and act as if she is another human, meaning you shouldnt cough or sneeze on her! you should only worry about her sneezing if she developes a runny nose, runny eyes, or coughs with it. In that case, she's probably caught a cold.
Don't even worry about allergies yet. When you get to know your ferret's personality, eating habits, and character more, you'll be able to tell if she has developed an allergy to anything by how she acts.

Ferrets are prone to respiratory problems, and shouldn't be around smoke, cleaner fumes, or anything with a strong smell. However, if he's only sneezing every once in a while, I wouldn't worry about it. They seem to do that alot. They have tiny noses, and not much room for debris in them. Just vacuum frequently. It should be fine.

If she was younger I would say she had some natural left-over birth fluid in her nose. She could also have allergies which is completely fine. Still, if you just got her you could take her for a check up. Just in case.
