it called a doppler. I so believe that you can get those off the internet but you will be able to hear the babies heart beat through a stethascope aroung 20 weeks or so.

It is definately a doppler. Bebe sounds sells a good one at babys r us. Splurge and get the Cd player attached with a mozart cd.
I swear my 4 year old is a genius because I played that for her every single night.

doppler--you can rent a hospital grade one online, just do an internet search for "doppler rental" and you'll get a ton of hits.
But don't buy one at Walmart, you'll be sorely disappointed.

its not a ultrasound...its a doppler..and if you want go to walmart or target and they are called bebe sounds they run $19.95..i got one for xmas to hear the babys heartbeat..and i love it..i listern to his heart beat every night before i go to bed...good luck and congrats..

it is a doppler..there is no pic, you just rub it on your belly. i know you can rent them too..read the magazines at the dr office, they will have ads in there to rent them..
