It all depends on how the break-up was...was it the guy breaking up with the girl or vice versa? If it was the guy breaking up with the girl and he did it in a not so nice way, then for him to then turn around and date her best friend is cold and heartless. Three weeks is also not a very long time. All in all, it does depend on the situation.

Omg dating a friend of an x is hurtful how much more if you date her bestfriend? and helloo u just broke up w/ her 3 weeks ago and youre already dating and hellooo it is her bestfried...dont be so mean to her! and that is so rude of you! try to put yourself on her shoe, its not only painful its insulting on ur xgfs part.

and btw when did u realize that u wanna date her bestfriend? If your not that serious w/ ur x bestfriend just leave her alone theres a lot of girls out there dont ruin there friendship.

you didnt go into details w/ your question, does her bestfriend like you back and told you that she wanted to date you?

be considerate to ur xgfs feelings and also to her bestfriend, what will her bestfriend think?and their friends will think! think it over men!pls!

Uh, dood, I think its really wrong,ur Ex is gonna go through a lot of pain if you do go out with her best friend, Just think of it this way, Your Ex broke up with you, then, 3 weeks later, she goes out with your best friend, Harsh is'nt it? And if her best friend goes out with you, shes being a little Whore for ditching her best friend to be going with you (her Ex)...Plus, you'd be making a wrong desicion.

yes that is just wrong. your kinda messing with the relationship that your ex and her friend have plus if you go out with her you will have to see more of your ex (assuming they're still friends) basically don't be a jerk.
But if u really do like the girl then maybe you could your ex's opinion maybe she will approve

Absolutely not!!! It's great for all of the egos involved. Your ex will suddenly find out what abject humiliation is, and obtain a contrite heart and humility, and you and your new friend will be blowing each others minds with your new exuberance for life.

YES, this is bad. For one thing I can tell you right now that it's not going to last because of the friend's tension. Also the friend is being a jerk for going out with her bff's ex.

It may not be wrong, just a little strange. Sounds a bit needy as in can't be without someone for any period of time, even 3 weeks.

By all means thats the biggest mistake anyone could ever do to a friend!! Friends are hard to find and if you find one you better hang on to it. Dates comes and goes but friends are for life!!!!

i think it is, although the guy may like her, unless the break up was mutual and painless, it would be hard on the ex. i know i would hate it if i broke up and she went out with my best friend
