You can't unless it was a CD-RW, which if you were going to use it in a stereo, I'm guessing you weren't. So... stick it in the microwave and watch the sparks fly.
If you were using a RW, then use nero to erase the disc. WARNING: This erases entire disk. Then reburn!

If the cd is a CD-R, it cant be erased. :( But if it is a CD-RW, place the cd in your cd burner and go to your file burning program (roxio, nero) Then choose between ull and quick erase. A quick erase is fine and will only take a few minutes. This can be done probably 7-8 times before a full erase is required.

You can only erase something off of a re-writable disc, such as a CD-RW. If you used CD-R or CD+R , you cannot erase anything.

it has to be a CD-RW to erase it, if its a CD-R u cant erase it.
now if it is a CD-RW u just put it in and click start than my computer and right-click the CD and than click erase all files on CD (it might be delete all files on CD).

Try putting it onto the computer, and when it is in, go on the file, right click, and see if it has the delete option.
