People. It's Tim Duncan. Kobe has never won an MVP (he's been in the league 10 years) and never won a ring without Shaq who was the best player on those teams (hence he won the Finals MVP all 3 times they won the ring). Duncan can't be stopped on the block and is a very good defender. Kobe is the best pure scorer in the league, but a terrible team player.

Right now it is kobe bryant because of his ability to score and this year had really shown that he can dish the ball if he wants to. He is only the second player is NBA history to score at least 50 points in 4 straight games and could make it 5 and even more.

Sadly, probably Kobe. It makes me sad to say that, but probably true. He is the most skilled player in the NBA, but not the best player. That would be Nash.

Kobe Bryant.
He's an amazing basketball player, with the ability to score anytime he wants (refer to the past 4 games or so). He scores in so many diff. ways as well.. he didn't need to go to the basket like MJ did. He could just pull up from anywhere within 35 feet and still score.

Steve Nash. He can pass, he can shoot, he can run the offense, and he is the key to his teams sucess. There may be players with more talent, but overall Nash is the best player.
Allen Iverson is a cancer who makes his team lose
Kobe scores so much in large part because they give him the ball so much

If it was one on one, It would be kobe...but steve nash and Lebron James are the best at making their teammates better..but then again they lack defense...and Lebron has been some what lacking on his clutch shooting this year.... Those are the top 3, either or other it comes down to opinion

The best player would be Kobe Bryant. I dont like him or the Lakers but he has scored a lot of points to lift his team lately. No one can score 50 points in a game if they dont have talent, even if they dont pass the ball.
