That statement is very judgmental and self-sided. It means some people don't have as much important things or responsiibilities as other people might have. But anyone making that statement is self-absorbed and is only thinking that their life is worth living. Its not good to look down on other people like that, no one knows what exactly is going on in other people's lives or for what reasons.

Depends on the way you look at it.
Some may see this statement as arrogant, but a person who has a partner and children may feel that they have more to live for than a single person.
It's all about POV.

There are many variatiables to that question for istance, it all depends on how much one actually cares for what they have, some people family are important and some family is not important to live for, I think it all depends on the person and what they choose to think is important

Lots of people have a lot to live for, but not the way you think. Some people have more than one handicapped child a sick mother and quite a lot on their plate.

I think they mean that some people see a bigger/broader picture and some can barely notice their own hand in front of their face.
Some go through life noticing things and some do not. A lot do not.

I think it's an arrogant statement. We all have something to live for. Nobody is better than anybody else.
