Whales are a part of our world and we are here to protect and guard it.
Whales are one of the largest wonders of nature and are of various uses too.
They add beauty to the nature and they also are the biggest mammals on earth.
Humans, through the past ages have been cruel to nature...
The main motto of man is to minimize work and maximize benefits, and with that intellect, man has indeed achieved it, but, the "obstacles" seem to be too harsh for him.
Whales have a very thick blubber which has exactly 33 uses !!!!!!
Their soft skin reduces radiations and extreme cold climates........
To the Inuits or "Eskimos", as we call them, the whales are the most important resources...
Whales offer them fooding, clothing, and sport ( hunting whales is a sport in Antarctica).their blubber is used for fat-oil and drinks (even in some wines),
etc.......
They even provide milk to the Inuits.....................
Their bones are also used to make A++ grade hide (adhesives)..........
So, you see, from their hair to tail, every organ of their EXPENSIVE body -structure is used by man in each and every way possible.............

I've explained it in the simplest of words so that every body can understand and best o' luck for the project..................

These days there really isn't a good reason as far as I'm concerned. They say it's for "scientific reasons" but what that means is after we've sold the needed body parts to whoever wants to consume or use them, then we test the rest. Because they are endangered it makes people want them more. I don't understand the reasoning behind it. I understand people in the colder climates up north who have done things like this for many years because it is how they have to survive. When it's done by choice on an animal that is likely to disappear then I have an issue. Sorry I could go on really touchy subject for me.
