What did Nostradamus say about the year 2012 in his own words ???

I've heard that he said 2012 will be the end of the Earth but i want to see what Nostradamus had written about the year 2012 in his own words.

Nostradamus does not mention any actual years by name. He just makes vague statements, such as,

"Coursan, Narbonne through the salt to warn
Tuchan, the grace of Perpignan betrayed;
the red town will not wish to consent to it,
in a high flight, a copy flag and a life ended."

that people interpret to mean whatever they want. It is all nonsense.

I don't think Nostradamus mentioned the year 2012 in his writings but i could be wrong .His predictions for the future end at the year 3797 although he has not said that will be the end of the world as some people believe.

The world is not going to end 2012.

Though many scientists have predicted that an asteroid may hit earth, they will come up with ways to deflect it and such. We have a couple more centuries to go. 2012 is the end of the world in the Mayan calendar.

hmm I guess it's kind of like with the bibble, how they look at the events that happens after it's done. You can't really know what he's saying until that one particular event happens.
