Have you ever seen something that just made you shake your head? I have before. The whole leprechaun in the tree thing in Alabama was embarrassing! Black people that blame white people for all their problems does get annoying. (We all know one, or two people like that.) Has this ever happened to you?

And it has happened here.
There are some amazingly uneducated people (of all ethnicities) here on Y!A...but I'll admit that uneducated and racist white people bother me the most. What particularly embarrasses me is their bland assumption that all other Anglos will agree with them, that it's a "normal" thing to be that way. Or that you're somehow inferior, as an Anglo, if you don't agree that Anglos are somehow being "oppressed" in America.
We must all remember that when other people are being idiots, the idiocy belongs to them, not to us.

Why would you be embarrassed by someone else because you happen to share the same skin tone? Could you have stopped that person from doing the thing that embarrassed you? Of course not. So if you are not responsible for them, why would you feel embarrassed by them?

Hey I'm from Alabama and that was embarrassing for the state,But heyyell yes I have some buddies that put the red in redneck.

YES very much so when i see black people acting all ghetto ignorant and uneducated i just feel so embrassed because that person is giving the entire black race a bad name and i dont want that

I mainly get embarrassed when my race is acting desperate to be apart of another culture. We should all have respect and compassion for each other, but I also think you should be proud and grateful for who you already are.
It's also rather disturbing when your race sides with another race to avoid being called the sometimes inevitable "racist."

I would'nt excuse everything people say they saw.
I'm sick of people calling them "crazy".."dumb"..etc...

I think that we white people are a borring race. We took over everything! I look back and I think "We did it. We conquered the world and there is no country where you can't see a white face" I'd like to take a break from that. We are so borring and common. Whn people thnk of the average american family, they think of white people. I like to look at those beutiful colored people from cool countries. They speak beutiful languges (or at least look cool). Lets face it. I think our race has some ugly looking people. No offence, but I think that black, hispanic, and oriental people look beutiful and foreighn to me. I envy you black people.
