no Australia is. beating India does not Sri Lanka the best team in the world.

Well Australia showed against south africa in yesterdays match that they are still the best team in the world.
But, sri lanka is not far away, they have very good batting lineup, very good bowling attack and a brilliant feilding side. So, in all they have everything.
Australia after loosing 3-0 to nzl recently have came back very strongly, they r much more hungrier now with that loss, they are fully focussed to win the 3rd consecutive world cup.
Another advantage australia have over lanka is australia's ability to play their best in big matches like finals, they are mentally tough side, they perform very well under pressure + they have a habit of reaching the finals and winning it, so definately they feel lesser pressure due to their experience in the finals.
Sri lanka will have to play their nerves out to beat them in the final, which would be very tough.

While Sri Lanka is one of the best team in the world cup, I do not consier them the best team as Australia, South Africa, West Indies and New Zeland are also best teams in the world cup.

No they're not! Bangladesh are! Bangladesh accidentally lost to Sri Lanka - i'm telling you seriously Bangaldesh is the best. Don't believe me? Then we'll have to wait and see who wins the Cricket World Cup!

sri lanka have just play a sri in new zealand at christmas this year n z won , the series , and nz also won a seris gainst auss, . auss have a few top player leave out , but auss the best team in the world

with murali they are always dangerous however apart from him the bowling lacks bite. they bat well and the fact they are very much a specialised limited overs side stands them in good stead for the rest of the world cup.
i am an england fan and if england cant win it i hope the tigers of sri lanka do it. they bring much excitement and enjoyment to international cricket.
