Incase you guys are wondering what I, myself would do, I would hire an accountant and find a way to make it grow. After of course taking out a couple thousand dollars and finding a way to buy a bag by Versace.

In light of all the stories about windfalls destroying lives, I'd like to think that I would use it as nothing more than a security blanket. But think of how you could change the lives of your children and theirs... With, say, 8% growth on the money, it would double every 9 years... If you have a 5 year old when you win/inherit/etc. the 1 Million, it could be worth close to 100 Million by the time he/she retires... After inflation, that would still be about $15 Million in today's dollars. Now think if that money is used wisely and then saved in trust for the grandchildren... Think of the libraries they could build! With marble floors!

Find the life that i lost and make it the life better that i wanted. I would do all the things i wanted and have fun and find a way to keep the million dollars making the the million dollars. I would help a few people that deserves a little bit of happiness and some badly needed medical and dental help and i myself would go on a much need vacation. I would contact TY from extreeme make over and build a couple of nice homes and tell those that were not so nice where to go.... I would love to see their faces when i tell them i am out ouf here and hire a limo and that i don't have to put up with there **** and can go pursue a Design career and start my own business and dont have to cry everday about all the bad things in the world that seem to have rested on my shoulder and can now sit with them..... I can go to sleep not worring about someone trying to hurt me and if i can eat two meals a day and no feel worried about $$ and Meet a intelligent member of the opposite sex, who can have a conversation, a dinner and maybe a movie and what else... Hire someone who will help protect me... I would also never ever have children and advise everyone i know not too. The heartbreak and horrors when something happens is not worth the pain.

I would find a big house close to the lake and walk there everyday and cry and maybe someday find out the answers???

Damn SureThing, you sure know how to turn a dream into a nightmare. Good Luck on life! By the way Ali, an accountant just keeps track of the money you spend. You're thinking of a financial advisor.
