PLEASE COMMENT AND TELL ME IF YOU AGREE WITH THIS..... STEREO TYPES ARE DESTROYING OUR SOCIETY. IF ONLY EVERYONE COULD REALIZE WE ARE ALL HUMANS SO WE SHOULDNT BE LABLED BASED ON WHERE WE SHOP, WHO WE HANG OUT WITH, OUR INTRESTS, OUR ECONIMIC OR SOCIAL STATUS, OR OUR PHYSICAL APPEARENCE.WHY DO PEOPLE SAY THINGS LIKE "EWWW....THATS NOT A NAME BRAND! YOU CANT HANG OUT WITH US IF YOUR DRESSED LIKE THAT!" SO WHAT! MAYBE PEOPLE CANT AFFORD TO SHOP AT ABERCROMBIE OR HOLISTER OR AMERICAN EAGLE. THATS NOT THEIR FAULT! WHY CANT PEOPLE ACCEPT OTHER PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE. THE TRUTH IS......REAL PEOPLE DONT NEED LABLES! AND KEEP IN MIND IM TWELVE YEARS OLD.

I agree, people assume that I'm gothic because I shop at Hot Topic and hate pink. I'm not anything but me! I don't care what anyone looks like or dresses like because I judge people based on their personality not by whats on the outside. I'm 15 not as young but still young so its up to the youth to teach later generations not to be ignorant. Your a smart kid!!

People get labled and that is a shame.I am from Alabama and while in the Military during Viet Nam era I got the name "redneck" from my buddies.Well with the stgma of nick names this hurts.
Though I still use the nick name I have 1 college degrees, and am an inventory manager for a company that has offices in 2 states.I am married,no not to my sister or cousin but a girl from California.
So when people syereotype people from Alabama as rednecks they need toknow that there are some fairly educated people here.
That's all I have to say about that.

There is sooo many girls & teens that can agree with exactly what you are saying!i can especially i dont understand why some girls get mad so easily over the smallest things. i have found a group of friends that are soo real and understand me. they dont care what i wear. do not feel pressured to be perfect - even though i know the atmosphere of middle school these days. whatever you do strive your hardest to get through these few young teen years. i promise after its over things will get better.

I agree. If people weren't stereotyped, we would cut down on a lot of trouble. Blondes are dumb? Not usually, actually. People in the South are "hillbillies"? No! It is so stupid how everyone nowadays is so stereotypical and thinks highly of themselves. I do admit I stereotype, but some of these "labels" belong on a soup can, not groups of people.

Some people are just shallow like that.
It's sad, but true. People tend to forget that clothes and money are not what makes a person.
It's what's in their heart that's important. Not their appearance.

I agree. You are very wise for your age. There are people twice your age who have yet to figure this out. Stereotypes are destroying us-if we could rid ourselves of them, just imagine what we could accomplish together.

Your right. I agree 100 percent. We can change sterotypes by proving them people wrong.
