Well, what I heard was this:
Will was going to trade his soul to free this father, and at a slight moment in the trailer, you will see Jack looking like one of Davy's crew, so people are thinking that Jack is going to give Davy his soul to save his father. So, personally, I don't think Will is going to die, but he might get into a situation where he will be close to death. And I don't think Jack is going to be part of Davy's crew either, but I do think that the moment where you see that one part I mentioned, it's Jack's father, Grant Sparrow.
P.S.
I read in RollingStone magazine that the director, Gore, says that a forth move is very unlikely and is hoping there won't be a 4th one. I'm just telling you that because I don't want people getting excited that there will be a 4th one. But as a POTC fan, I really hope there will be POTC 4.

Actually Disney is turning the movie into a long series of movies. Will will die in the fourth movie or at least Orlando Bloom's contract is not being renewed. The studio announced it a little while ago. I really like the series so it i'll be sad to see Will go but they said the for monetary reasons their cutting him.

Yes, he does "die," but then Bootstrap Bill turner and Captain Grant Sparrow (Jack's father) team up to save Will and Jack.

Rumor has it, Disney's making POTC 4 and they didn't sign Orlando onto it yet. Something about a budget. So it's entirely likely.
