okay my husband is a twin and his twin and his wife always try copy us and be better. its so annoying. we got married andd of then she begged my husband 's twin to marry her. we get a dog they get a dog. i get a new car she gets a new car. i have two kids so of course she got pregnant with her second. how can i make her stop?

Simple! Tell your husband that you are going to tell her you have the cutest, hottest, guy on the side and is he great in bed! When they tell him, he just goes with the game, maybe says "yeah, she really likes him, you guys want to go out for a yogurt?" Sit back and see if she tries to out do you! Then when she introduces you to her new boyfriend, you can tell her it was all a joke! Damn, I'm evil!

Its a compliment when people try to be like you. It may be annoying, but I would feel very superior if everything you do, she copies. She is obviously in awe of you, and is quite insecure when you analyse it.
The first thing you need to do is to change your mindset. You just have to feel sorry for the poor little thing....she hasnt got a mind of her own....she wants to be just like you.
The second thing you can do is to tell her you dont appreciate her copying everything you do. She sees you as the more superior, so anything you say to her she will listen to. Tell her that you are just a normal everyday person and there is no need for her to be like you. Tell her you like her just the way she is and this competition she is having with you is really degrading to her. Tell her she needs help in formulating her own personality. The very least it will accomplish is to embarrass her to stop mimicking you. Give it a try...nothing ventured, nothing gained.

You can't. They have a right to do anything they want - include copying you. But I'll bet you that new car that if you jumped off the roof they wouldn't follow! Just let it go and live your life!

Be glad someone wants to be like you. You can't stop someone who does this. They feel they have to have everything someone else has. It doesn't matter what it is or even if they can afford it. Take it in stride

oh, man, i feel bad for you. maybe you do something crazy like dying your hair bright colors, or something like that and she wont want to copy you, or you talk to them about it nicely, or tell your husband to talk to them nicely about it. but remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, or something like that. good luck!
